Amsterdam Part Three

Amsterdam is alive at night - more than half the apartments don't use curtains or choose to leave them open making it a feast for voyeurs and curious people alike.  This isn't the best photo to give an example but I like it anyway.

Beautiful sunny day in Amsterdam, everyone flocking to the park...reminiscent of Edinborough Gardens.

Amsterdam Continued . . .

We found this amazing sculptural tunnel in a children's playground made out of living plants with their limbs twined together.

Old building being demolished

This ship was made in 1700s and now sits docked near the NEMO science building

(Unfortunately my lens was dirty, ruining these photographs!)

Amsterdam looks so lovely at night time, the water shimmering and reflecting a warm glow over the streets with little lights adorning the bridges over the canals.  I tried to capture it but however I am not very good at night photography and am still getting to know my camera.

Looking up above our heads we discovered this cat pinned to the wall...
